All prices and quotes are subject to VAT at the current UK rate and act as an accurate estimate to our products which are subject to change. We reserve the right to alter our prices as the market fluctuates accordingly and without prior warning. The Carvery and it’s employees assume no responsibility for any copyright infringements. All MCPS and licensing agreements are the sole responsibility of the client.
We estimate a 6-8 week turn around for manufacturing/pressing orders pending all assets are provided and approved by the client as directed by The Carvery. This may differ for any special projects. All project completion is subject, but not limited to, supply and demand both within The Carvery and any relevant third parties where applicable as well as public holidays.
We request that all tracks are delivered/sent to us in a lossless format (WAV/AIFF) with a minimum audio quality of 16bit 44.1Khz. To supply audio from any other sources such as DAT, 1/4” tape etc, please contact us via email@example.com to discuss.
Test Pressings, Sleeve and Label Artwork
Test Pressings should be checked for skips and clicks before approval. They should bare a close sonic resemblance to the digital master but due to the physical nature of the medium they are unlikely to be 100% identical. We also offer a service for reference acetates for a true representation of the final product prior to lacquers being cut for Test Pressings. Please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org for further info on this.
All artwork submitted for sleeves and labels must be submitted using our templates. These should all be high resolution PDFs in CMYK. Once these have been received, they will be processed into printing proofs for the approval of the client. We require written confirmation of approval from the client for all sleeve and label artwork before going to print.
Important – Once approved if errors are then later found in the finished artwork or vinyl no responsibility will be taken by The Carvery or any of its partners.
Restoration from vinyl and 1/4″ tape is charged by track on a case by case basis. We require the source material to be sent to us for evaluation and quotation.
All Lacquers are mastered and cut at The Carvery. The Standard price includes the mastering cost of two tracks, one per side. Additional tracks and Digi-Masters are charged separately. If you would like mp3 proofs please let us know at the point of ordering.
Due to the nature of the vinyl pressing process, vinyl is not pressed in an exact amount. This discrepancy is known as ‘overs’ or ‘unders’. As a result we reserve the right to a 10% tolerance over or under the required quantity to allow for this. If the final stock is over or under the required quantity, the final invoice will be calculated and adjusted per unit accordingly to reflect the final balance.
All quotes are exclusive to the items ordered and do not include delivery nor account for any overs that may be incurred. All additional costs for deliveries, any upgrades from initial order and any other overs will be calculated and added to a final invoice.
For all deliveries, we require a full name, full address and phone number to process the order. We use an independent courier broker for all of our deliveries. All stock is insured to the basic level however, if you require an increase in insurance please let us know. Once pick-up has been made, we will supply you with a tracking number. The Carvery accept no responsibility for loss or damages once the goods have been collected by the courier.
Any final stock that remains at the Carvery 10 days after delivery will be subject to a storage fee of 10% of the final invoice amount per week. If no arrangements for storage payment, collection or delivery have been made within 4 weeks of the stock arriving, The Carvery reserve the right to make arrangements for the stock to be destroyed.
All payments are required in advance, unless previously agreed. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, bank transfer or Paypal. Please note, all Paypal charges will be subjected to a 3.5% charge. All international payments are to be made through either bank transfer or Paypal. All transfer charges are the cost and responsibility of the client.
If you require further information on any of the above, please contact us via email@example.com.
